Elske started practicing yoga to become more flexible after running several marathons and teaching TRX training.
She found that not only did yoga improve her flexibility but it also also helped her to become stronger, both physically and mentally. She completed her first 200-hour vinyasa and hatha teacher training in Goa, India. Throughout the years she did several additional yoga teacher trainings: trauma- sensitive yoga, prison yoga, yin yoga, prana vinyasa yoga, which lifted her to a 500h+ teacher.Elske lived in Qatar for a couple of years where she taught vinyasa, yin and aerial yoga in the main yoga studio of the capital, several companies and a member of the Royal family before moving to Holland, where she continued to teach in her own yoga studio. She uses yoga in a playful way to feed the body, mind and soul in a powerful, creative and or gentle flow.
The last few years she widened her experience with massage therapy, personal fitness training and small group trainings. Elske is a true believer of the fact that moving the body, and healthy food choices makes your life happier.
Looking forward to seeing you on the beautiful Tuscan Fitness hill!

For Alix, nutrition, a healthy lifestyle and Yoga have always been of paramount importance. She is a strong supporter of the Latin saying ‘mens sana in corpore sano’, which means that only a healthy body can support a healthy mind, so we should strive to keep our bodies in top condition.
She has been practicing Yoga for many years in order to sustain a well balanced life, she has completed trainings in India for (200hr) ashtanga yoga and in Costa Rica for a (200 hr) vinyasa and massage therapy course and 500 hr in Florida, and believes that through asana practice we can sustain a clearer consciousness.
Alix wants to impart her knowledge onto her students helping them to understand their bodies and therefore be able to delve more deeply into each pose.
She has lived in many countries, and experienced many different cultures, and from this she has been inspired to follow the fundamentals of the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle which provides the most comprehensive combination of nutrition, well-being and family-oriented ideals. This philosophy is not about deprivation or even having to worry about how to manage a harmonious diet and lifestyle, instead Alix wants to open up a world of delicious and well balanced menus that you can take home with you and use for the rest of your life.
